StreetCheck

A substantial cloud platform built around the real workflow of community drug checking: collecting samples, coordinating programs, connecting laboratory results, and making information useful to researchers and community partners.

Brown–Lifespan Center for Digital Health

Public-facing health software

MyCOVIDRisk

A mobile-friendly public health application designed and implemented with physicians, epidemiologists, and data scientists. It translated evolving transmission science and local data into accessible risk estimates and mitigation choices during the COVID-19 response.

The research team reported more than 1.3 million uses by March 2022.

Verity Analytics & public service platforms

A long-standing engineering collaboration across nonprofit and public service systems. The work includes Verity Analytics for disability and kinship services, Maine health-data submission portals, and tools for assessing disability support needs.

CATCH-IT program & course platform

Designed and built the complete new platform for delivering Brown’s CATCH-IT program and courses. The software supports the delivery of a research-informed adolescent depression prevention program through a dedicated digital learning experience.

DICOMweb for AWS HealthImaging

Designed and implemented the DICOMweb interface for Amazon AWS HealthImaging, connecting its cloud-native medical image storage with industry-standard imaging operations. The work bridged a different underlying storage model with the protocols used by clinical imaging systems.

Cross-enterprise imaging exchange

Clinical Connector & RSNA Image Share

Engineering contributions to the Life Image Clinical Connector and RSNA Image Share Clearinghouse, supporting standards-based image and document sharing between healthcare organizations.

An embedded user interface for an advanced intravascular imaging and arterial catheter system. The software connected demanding clinical workflows with image acquisition, in-device analysis, and downstream imaging systems.

SMART on FHIR launch service
